Lunar Eclipse 2020 Live Updates: People cannot see Penumbral lunar eclipse, post funny messages on Twitter

This will be the third lunar eclipse for this year. In total, we have already seen three eclipses – two penumbral lunar eclipse events and one annular solar eclipse. The latest upcoming eclipse today is a penumbral lunar eclipse. Interested viewers in India will be slightly let down because the lunar eclipse will not be visible from India considering it is day time here today.

The places that will be able to witness the lunar eclipse are South/West Europe, parts of Africa, parts of North America, South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean and Antarctica. Similar to the last two lunar eclipses – this is also a penumbral lunar eclipse. The next lunar eclipse after today will occur on November 29-30. The last solar eclipse was visible from India from major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, and more place across India.
